Some reasons you may want to meet with an IBCLC include:

Painful feedings
Supply concerns
Engorgement
Supplementation
Slow or poor weight gain
Pumping
Returning to work
Introducing solids while breastfeeding
Prenatal counseling
Any other challenges or concerns about breastfeeding you may be experiencing

A consult includes a full feeding and/or pumping assessment and personalized plan to address any challenges you may be experiencing.
